More About Annie Gage:
I began working with children in 1986, while I was getting my Masters degree in social work. After ten years as a child and family therapist, I began taking jobs in elementary schools, where I provide emotional and academic support. Currently, I am employed as the Family Advocate at Meridian Park Elementary and Room Nine Community School in Shoreline.
Always an avid reader and writer, I have sold a few stories and essays, and am a member of the Society for Children's Bookwriters and Illustrators. Although I love to write, I prefer real people to those I make up!
For several years, I led Summer Writing Camp in various venues. I am excited to add reading to the mix, especially at such a perfect location.
